Atrial Tachycardia - This is a focal tachycardia that is found in the right or left atrium. The most common location where atrial tachycardia originates is in the right atrium along the crista terminalus.

Supraventricular tachycardias make up the largest percentage of arrhythmias that you will see in the EP lab. With the development of electrophysiology and ablation technologies, the treatment possibilities for dealing with SVT have expanded immensely. Ten years ago, the primary therapy for arrhythmias was medications. Today, almost every form of SVT can be treated using ablation therapy.
