Study Area

Let's see what we have learned...

Learning about EP takes more than reviewing the literature that explains how things work. It takes practice and repitition to get good at this. Towards that end, this section has been created to provide the user with the opportunity to try their hand at some rhythm analysis.  Just a note, setting up these strips for review is a time consuming process. It also requires access to good recordings of neat rhythms, preferably in a format that makes them easy to post here. If you have some recordings and/or images from a neat case that you would like to share, click here to send them to us. Any images or recordings used will be credited to whoever has sent them, or if you wish, it can be posted as an anonymous sender. Either way, it will be appreciated by all of us.

Surface ECG's & Rhythm Strips

It all started with surface electrocardiograms and the ECG remains an integral part of cardiac electrophysiology. This section has recordings that we hope will provide everything from easy picks to those with a bit of a challenge.

Intracardiac Electrograms

It is difficult to get far without the ability to interpret electrograms from inside the heart. Check here to see a variety of bipolar and unipolar recordings that will test your knowledge.

Medications and More

As a tech, the meds were always a challenge for me. I have tried to keep up with current medication utilization and include that information here. I have also tried to add in a few odds and ends in this section that didn't seem to fit anywhere else.

Advanced Cases

OK, you think you've got it down do you?  Well, here is your chance to prove it. Enter here all who believe that they are good at EP.....Check your ego at the door.
